Questions and answers

Any legal or natural person in any country who is over 18 years old can register at our platform and create a free user profile. To publish memorial pages of deceased people or animals, either as company or institutional pages, there are some conditions that need to be taken into account (see below).

Most of the services on our website are completely free of charge at the moment. Registration is free, and you can use all the features of the platform at no additional cost, except for the products in the online shop and crowdfunding. For crowdfunding, we charge a fee of €10 to cover banking costs and 5% of the amount raised, excluding taxes.

You can also get additional features such as highlighting your profile, promoting pages or posts and more, for a small subscription fee ranging from €3 to €49 per month.

It is similar to Facebook profiles and its fan pages. When you register, you are automatically assigned a user profile, which is where you post things about yourself and use it to interact with other users. From your user profile, as a natural person, you can create memorial pages for deceased people and pets, as well as company or institutional pages. Other users can follow these pages and can also post content on them if you wish so (photos, videos, etc.).
At the moment, there is no limit to the number of pages you can create.

When it concerns pages of deceased pets, there are no conditions. When it involves pages of companies or institutions, you must have the authorisation of those companies or institutions to publish the pages.

When publishing pages about deceased people, you must be a direct relative of the deceased person you are going to publish about (parent, child, guardian or legal guardian), or have an authorisation from the direct relatives of the deceased person.

It is very straightforward. Simply go to the menu on the left, under "My memorial pages", and in the middle, choose "Create your memorial page".

Then, write a name for the page (e.g. the name of a deceased person or pet, or the name of a company or institution).

In "Page URL", write a short name that you want to have as the web address of the page. You can’t use spaces or special characters such as accents, hyphens or symbols. For example, if you type "grandmacarmen", the address of the page will be https://www.livecobo.com/grandmacarmen.

Write a short description explaining what the page is about. You can then add more information on the page later.

After that, choose the category of the page (people, pets, companies or institutions), click on the "Create" button and that's it. You now have a new page to share with your friends.

It is very simple. If you only want to change the header image or your avatar, just click on the buttons below and select the image you want to use from your computer.

There are two ways to do this:

  • b) Using the events section at https://www.livecobo.com/events/. Here you can enter the details of the funeral, including location and times, as well as a photo of the deceased person and an obituary in the description of the event.

Crowdfunding campaigns allow individuals to contribute with a small amount of money to cover expenses for the benefit of other people or institutions. As a registered user, you can create a crowdfunding campaign at https://www.livecobo.com/funding, indicating a name for the campaign, the amount in Euros you want to raise, a description of what you want to raise and why, and an illustrative image.

Other users will see your campaign and will be able to contribute the amount they want via credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. That amount goes into a LiveCobo bank account. At the end of the campaign, we will transfer the total amount of money you have raised to your account, minus the established taxes and bank fees.

The marketplace is an online space for users to sell any kind of products, new or second-hand, to each other. When a user is interested in a product that is being sold by another user, they contact them through the platform, either via chat or messages, and between them they organise how to pay for and deliver the product.
